The Radiation Oncology Building at St. James’s Hospital in Dublin is a multi-story facility designed to enhance cancer treatment services. Our role included:

• Fire Safety Certificate Application: Preparation and submission, including documentation and drawings.
• Fire Safety Design: Development of designs covering means of escape, internal/external fire spread prevention, and integration of fire systems.
• Risk Assessment: Comprehensive assessments to identify and mitigate fire hazards.
• Emergency Evacuation Planning: Creation of detailed plans with clear signage, accessible routes, and safe refuge areas.
• Advanced Fire Protection Systems: Implementation of smoke clearance facilities and fire-resistant materials.

These efforts ensure the highest standards of fire safety, protecting patients, staff, and infrastructure at St. James’s Hospital.
