Spanning more than 40 healthcare facilities nationwide, this programme involved comprehensive safety and compliance assessments across nursing homes, mental health centres and other high-risk environments, where resident welfare and operational continuity were paramount. Delivered within live clinical settings, the assessments required a sensitive and coordinated approach to identify real-time risks while engaging with staff and residents to inform practical, site-specific recommendations.
The scope included fire risk assessments, evacuation planning, compartmentation reviews and the development of fire safety registers, alongside wider evaluations of infection control measures, structural integrity and emergency procedures. A multidisciplinary approach was adopted to assess each facility holistically, supported by staff engagement, safety training and detailed reporting tailored to the specific risk profile of each site.
This project demonstrates AFEC’s capability to support complex healthcare environments through integrated risk assessment, compliance strategy and stakeholder engagement, delivering clear and actionable solutions to enhance safety, preparedness and long-term resilience across critical care facilities.
