Located on Duke Street in Dublin city centre, this flagship retail development for Nespresso was conceived as a premium, immersive customer environment, requiring the seamless integration of high-performance building services within a refined architectural setting. The €8.5 million fit-out demanded precise coordination to align engineering systems with strict international brand standards, while delivering full compliance with Irish regulatory requirements within a constrained urban site.
The scope included the design and coordination of mechanical and electrical systems tailored to a multi-level retail layout, incorporating high-efficiency HVAC, bespoke lighting aligned with brand identity, integrated power systems for retail, café and back-of-house functions, and fully coordinated fire and life safety systems. Delivered on a fast-track programme, the project required close collaboration with international designers, specialist suppliers and local contractors, alongside detailed inspection planning and BCAR compliance management.
